Children and Youth

Southwest Advocacy Group

Our programs to foster environmental awareness among the youth of Alachua County are key to the work we do at KACB. These programs include instruction on litter control, recycling and gardening. Our organization also collaborates with the Hippodrome Theatre's Education Department to hold community action workshops for social change and is an active participant with the Gainesville Police Department's Black on Black Crime Task Force. KACB's involvement with the youth of Alachua County is ever changing as we continue to implement new programs that will encourage each generation of youth in environmental work. work.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Keep America Beautiful follows a practical approach that unites citizens, businesses and the government to find solutions that advance our core issues of preventing litter, reducing waste, and beautifying communities.
