Porters Community Farm is a volunteer-coordinated garden space available to residents of Porters Quarters. The Porters community is an historically Black neighborhood whose origins date all the way back to the late 1800s. The farm offers fresh produce for residents of Porters Quarters. Activities may include lawn maintenance, planting, weed pulling, site cleanup, installing irrigation, and preparing the greenhouses for the winter. Volunteer events are held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
