As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Keep Alachua County Beautiful believes that each of us holds an obligation to preserve and protect our environment. Through our everyday choices and actions, we collectively have a significant impact on our world. We are proud to be affiliated with Keep America Beautiful’s network of more than 700 state and community-based affiliates. Together we cause meaningful, positive and lasting change by delivering innovative, locally-focused programs that address our community’s needs.
Keep America Beautiful has recognized the efforts of our staff and wonderful volunteers. Every year since our affiliation in 1991, Keep Alachua County Beautiful has earned the Keep America Beautiful President's Circle Recognition Award, distinguishing us as one of the top innovative and impactful affiliates in the nation.
Established in 1953, Keep America Beautiful provides the expertise, programs and resources to help people End Littering, Reduce Landfill Waste, Beautify America’s public spaces, and Restore & Support resilient communities.
