TIRE ROUNDUP EVENT

Keep Alachua County Beautiful is happy to announce the return of its Tire Roundup special event. This is a program organized in a way to where residents can dispose of unwanted tires, for free, to prevent them from being illegally dumped or improperly stored, which can lead to environmental issues like mosquito breeding and toxins leaching into the earth. This is not only a benefit for community members but for the planet too!
Location: Squirrel Ridge Park, 1603 SW Williston Road Gainesville, FL 32608.
Date and Time: Saturday, September 27, from 8 a.m. until noon.
Restrictions: Up to four tires per person, tires with rims not accepted, no commercial vehicle tires will be accepted and tires from businesses will not be accepted.
